There are only two occasions where credit can be granted for the Graduate Certificate of Perioperative Medicine. These are:

1. Where eligible units have been completed as either a Master of Perioperative Medicine (M6033) or Graduate Certificate of Perioperative Medicine (M4029) student, and credited within 7 years of completion. Eligible units include POM5101 or POM5102 or POM5103.
2. Completion of unit POM5001 (Perioperative management of the cardiac patient) as part of the Master of Medicine M6027 course is eligible for credit towards unit POM5101 within 7 years of completion.

Recognition of prior learning for any other successfully completed units, courses, or speciality experience is NOT eligible for credit (this includes working in the industry for 10+ years).
